Rather good.

Clever video. Can't help but think of Diesel Sweeties (webcomic) though with Indie Pete and hearing this kind of stuff before so maybe it wasn't as funny to me as it should've been. Still funny though.

It's true though what you were putting across and everything about this video was well done. The music clips at the end were very funny too!

Hah! Very good!

Very good overall (authentic sound effects) but the only reason I liked it was because I'm biased for the Transformers. Glad you did your own style as well...but if it had been the G1 style animation of yesteryear, it would've been magnificent.

What was Megatron's name through that btw? Metatron? Melontron? Magoo?

Will you be touching in your next one (which there probably will be another one); the fact that the storyline actually makes no sense from beginning to end? The story of G1 is hilarious in it's self!

Anyway, good job.

Battosai810 responds:

Melatron is his name, because his character (and voice) are both based around my character, Cousin Mel. hence SRM is SRM Prime, and Spuboy is Spudbee (mind you, these characters are pretty obscure if you haven't seen the other toons - which also addresses the whole thing with the style not being the same as the old show)
good to know you found everything else about it so good though! and yes, there will be more!

Ha!

I just think the chicken with the lazers is fantastic. I think you're a man of talent!

LOLOLOLOLOL

Actually, it wasn't all that bad. I had my doubts at first with the slow start but you brought it round with the bad voice acting. Coincedentally, who is the guy who did the comics again? I didn't catch his name.

Only thing I'd suggest for your next one as a constructive criticism is to make the sound a little clearer. I'm guessing the whole presentation with the graphics was part of the thing so I liked it!

Like to see more!

Dave Price.

Thank you

I hope to let you know I've watched since the beginning and I must say that I'm delighted you finished. Not only this, I'm glad you finished on a very big high and indeed, cliff-hangerish. This chapter made up for the blatant plug of chapter 9.

But I must say, and I mean this from my heart, thank you. Thank you for getting to the end. Thanks for giving us a world so rich with characters. And thank you for giving people hope that flash animation CAN be used to make things happen. I did notice that the writers of Transformers were on your special thanks list so I'm guessing that was what the news was about on Xombieforum.com.

Most of all, thank you for giving budding people like me with no talent and no ideas on how to do animation some sort of way of actually making a flash series successful. From the bottom of my heart, if I'd not watched Xombie so many moons ago, I don't think I would've even started animating anything. I'm not that great anyway but you know, you inspired me.

Thanks... I hope to see more from you. Don't let it end this way!

Christ

I actually laughed out loud for that one. It was so bad that it was godly! I want more like this!

Heh!

I watched the original Honey Smack and still found it quite funny. It does look a lot better now with the new animation and art in place.

Overall, very well done and to the point.

Dave Price.

P.S. Thanks for favouriting my work btw. I never did thank you for that! So...thanks!

TXMStudios responds:

No problem, I enjoyed your work, so I had to keep it in my favorites as reference. Thanks for the comments and thanks for watching the original as well, we appreciate it.

Jeez!

That was geniunely quite funny.

And the Price guy has the same name as me. Woo!

Why doesn't Mortal Kombat ever win!?

I am geniunely quite amazed by the amount of patience you've put in to this whole thing. I'm not usually a fan of sprite movies...but all I say about it is that even though it was cheesy, the fight scenes were amazing.

FUCK YEAH!

Hmm...this seems a strange one for Xombie...

uVa posted a good review a few pages back. I think he sums up a lot of what should be really said.

Many people have asked about the eye-patch but if you go on the website, you'll understand that Farr has been developing his style and as such, he wasn't too great at animating with eye-patches. He wanted it in originally but never got around to it. Or so I read...

...in any case, I do believe that whilst it was a very sound episode with it's fancy gimmickry and nice animation - it felt more of a plug and when you do visit the site day in day out, it was like a kick in the teeth to see yet again another advert for the damned book.

Yeah, we get the idea, the book has the secrets, the animation was short, it was good...but maybe we're running the comic book in to the ground now? I'm getting it! I'm buying the damned thing! I have to pay extra because I'm in the UK but I'm still friggin' doing it! YOU HEAR ME!? I'M A CONSUMER WHORE ALREADY! Stop ramming it in my face!

/rant

I'm not berating it! Oh no! I really did like it! You've done a good job as always..it was short...but meh...I just hope...nay, I pray...that the next Xombie features will not feel like adverts...and will return more like episodes like they should be.

My, that was long.

You've stumbled upon me, how cozy. Feel free to do anything...I don't mind...
